Italian composer, organist and scholar Carlo Forlivesi is regarded as one of the most original and eclectic artists of his generation. He has enjoyed an international career that has spanned three decades and four continents. . His musical interpretations are distinguished by a refinement that encompasses both new compositions and early music. He has been the recipient of numerous musical awards, and his work has rapidly garnered international recognition, receiving awards from prestigious institutions such as the Yamaha Foundation in Tokyo, the Gaudeamus Foundation in Amsterdam, and the Europe Culture Award. Carlo Forlivesi’s Australian visit is presented in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute in Melbourne and the Université Côte d'Azur.
